“We had the two best days fishing with the amazing Captain Wahan, catching plenty of fish on both days. He is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely does everything he can to put you on fish. “Unforgettable experience! I was his first customer to book the sunset fishing tour and it was the highlight of my trip. “I had the best time of my holidays with Amed Local Adventures! I spent two days spearfishing with them, came as a rookie and left as a true enthusiast! They’re incredibly passionate about what they do and extremely skilled at it: great teachers, patient, and they know the spots like the back of their hand. From learning proper techniques, to spearfishing in blue water, and finally sharing an amazing dinner together, everything was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come back and go spearfishing again with the Amed Local Adventures family!”

“I went spearfishing in Amed and had the best experience! I’m still learning, but Wayan made me feel completely comfortable from the very beginning. As a woman doing this solo, feeling safe was really important to me, and I appreciated how thoughtful, patient, and encouraging he was throughout the day. Wayan not only taught me great techniques but also created such a fun and supportive atmosphere that made the whole experience unforgettable. His kindness and expertise really stood out, and I absolutely loved learning from him. I can’t wait to come back and do it again — this was such a highlight of my time in Bali. “Whether you are a hardcore spearo, a total beginner, or somewhere in between, 100% hit up Dusan and his crew for some adventures! Dusan is as obsessed with spearfishing as they come; his passion is totally infectious and will make you love being out in the water even more. He's also a seasoned hunter and will take you to some of the fishiest spots in the area - I went from having never speared any mahi mahi before to landing 3 within 2 hours of the trip. Dusan's crew, Wayan and Made, are also some of the coolest guys you'll ever meet - equally wicked on the boat motor as they are on the grill when cooking up a feast with the day's catch. Truly a special experience - already planning my next trip!”
“Had a great experience today with the locals at Amed. We had a welcoming friendly skipper who was knowledgeable and put us into the fish straightaway. Was cool to see there techniques and ways of fishing. Ended up with plenty of fish to take in and even got to eat out on catch! Would highly recommend to anyway in the area to have a go. Will not disappoint!”
“What an unforgettable day! Wayan, our guide and a local fisherman, was so kind and patient — he really shared his love for the ocean and fishing. So genuine! Booking was smooth and simple. After the trip, they invited us back to the shop to prepare and cook our catches of the day — mahi mahi, rainbow runners, and my fave, the triggerfish (also Wayan’s favourite 🐠💞). Any extra fish gets shared with his family and the community. We hung out with their friends, family, and other guests — it felt so welcoming, like being a local in Amed. Truly one of those days you’ll never forget!”
